Transcripts alone are not sufficient for video. Whenever you have pictures and sound, then the captioned text and video must be synchronized.

• Visually impaired students who can not view your video can follow along by using a screen reader to read the transcript to the video.

• If timing is important in the video, be sure to timecode the transcript.
